The environments in this movie were the best I've ever seen in the Shrek Franchise. Gorgeous and detailed! Especially loved the trees. Wonderful work. And Rumpel's palace was epic. :]

It started out as a 3d model from the original Shrek Far Far away castle, then went through a few drawovers to completely change the style and silhouette, then went through a few different paintings and color style passes to get here.
